Fireworks, Shades & Summer in New England

Written by Ms Sonia on July 14, 2016.

Did you hear the explosion? Its summer and fireworks have been popping since the 1st of JULY with the bombshell release of newly formed Steppin Interest Group "Neo Classic Steppers Entertainment Group" of Boston, Mass. Talking about the red, white and blue look for their flier and logo in the Electrifying, Ecstatic Electric BLUE.

Neo Classic Stepper's chose National Chicago Stepper's Day, August 13, 2016 as the official day to host their Launch Party to the Greater Boston Area. This event will be held at Franklin Park Golf Club House, Dorchester, MA, 6pm to 10pm open to the public and to all urban dancers. Want to know more about the Vision, the Purpose, the Goal of N.C. Now for the RED, 4th of July was Red Hot with Red Velvet Steppers and Dance Urban teaming up with local students remaining in Cambridge for the summer for work or classes from the campus of Harvard University, Hult International Business School and other surrounding schools. Grillmaster Justin and Bola expressed their enthusiasm to learn more about Steppin... James provided an Intro session to Steppin. As urban dancing makes its way thru the New England area, let's talk Shade...I'm talking about 3, 3 Days of Shades of Summer, in Stamford, CT. The 3rd Annual “Shades of Summer Steppen Weekend” returned to Stamford, CT, this past weekend hosted by Michelle Green and Harvey Banner of the Authentic Steppers of Connecticut /Brooklyn and their team of Angels began the event with a DAY Party for early arrivals with Boston's Up & Coming Steppin DJ -- MixMaster Rudy Dottin.

Can you say ALOHA? The Friday Night Luau was turnt ALL the Way up with Steppin DJ Mellow Khris & the Mix Master Rudy Dottin. Steady Steppers Instructors entered the building plus guest from MA, NY, NJ, PA, IL, GA, VA & LA

Can you say? Stepper's are FIERCE! Reppin' from Detroit the Steady Steppers Instructional team: Larry, Ricky & Daniela workshop was underway for Steppers of all levels.

Now for the white -- An evening of enchantment as guest entered the halls and doors in white and touches of Gold for dinner and dancing. Both DJ's pulled out their “Mansfield Collection” to keep the dancers on the floor and curious about the next track. Boston Steppers of all levels from all steppin groups were in the building deep to support our neighboring NE steppin family.

Sunday Brunch allowed Stepper's to get their Step On, Slide On, House On and of all things LIMBO On! BAM! Who knew you could haves so much fun during a Stepper's Weekend. I personally enjoyed all the events, classes, meeting new people and learning more about the dance, the culture and how to step. I am double excited about getting back into the stepper's groove. I'm excited about the Spirit moving in Boston paying it forward to everyone we meet. So there you have it, the Red & White and the Blue! #East Coast Baby….we goin all the way up!!! Nothing can stop us! Next stop #NY #8thbigcitysteppinweekend.
