I'm facing a full weekend (which is a normal state in the summer time) and I'm worn out just thinking about it. You have quite a few choices over the weekend too. On the West coast you can go to party with "Step On... Unlimited" as the group gets its weekend event under way tonight and they will have the World's Largest Steppin' Competition Semi-finals in Los Angeles. The official results will be posted on WLSContest.Com as we watch to see who will make it in the "Out Of Town" category. Remember only 10 couples will make it to the contest in Tinley Park in September and as it stands right now there are already ten couples in the category so someone will get bumped.
After looking at the rules I'm wondering if someone might try to RE-qualify to get a higher score. It could create interesting complications since I don't see a rule against trying to improve your score. What do you think? Should that be an option? Should people take advantage of the situation by dancing a second time to bring their score up to avoid being bumped? Is that exploiting the rules or is a case where competitors should be able to do anything they can to win?

My weekend will start at Club Dyamonds where the Dyamonds Divas with DJ Cross manage to fill the place every other Friday. It's one set where if you get there early you really won't regret it. Fellas, there's always ladies to dance with at this set and they're just waiting for you.
My Saturday is where I need to make a choice. Three SteppersUSA advertisers are having an event on the same night so I have to use some logic when making the choice. The three events are Paradise Productions at Mr. G's, I went there last month and Rose manages to pack both sides of the place. There's DP's (of After 7 and Diamond Diva's) "Red Carpet Cancer vs. Leo Birthday Bash" at the Hilton downtown in Chicago. The third choice is the Ultimate Steppers Connection's first anniversary party at the Maywood Park Racetrack. I'll probably go to the track this time since I was just at Roses set and will have gone to DP's set with the Dyamonds Divas on Friday. I think next time I have more than one event on the same day I might put it up for a vote!
My Sunday will be at Sunshine's 80's birthday party in Alsip, IL. It (as most of Sunshine's parties) promises to be... no let me rephrase that... it will be a wild party. You know I won't miss that one. Shine always draws a crowd.
