yesterday:
It was the Topic of conversation last night at United We Stand
Entertainment's Event at The Dorchester in Dolton IL. Comments ranged
from, "What can you expect, we are in a recession, who is going to give
away $30,000.00 right now." to "Hell, I never even saw a plugger or
heard anything on the radio about the contest, how did they expect it to
work"?
Yesterday afternoon, the partners of United We Stand Entertainment got
the word from Merry Green that the contest was cancelled. This according
to John, one of the members of that group. Other comments heard were...
Anheuser Busch pulled their support, and The Black Women's Expo
cancelled because meeting commitments were not upheld. All of these
comments are unsubstantiated at this time. Once more information becomes
available, we will present it to you.
